It is not uncommon to see a coveted truffle appear during meals...
It is sometimes difficult to resist their gaze, but it is for their health!
Some foods we eat are not necessarily suitable for your pet.
10 Foods Your Pet Can't Digest:
Dairy products

As adults, dogs do not have the enzymes necessary to assimilate lactose and therefore do not digest it properly.
Dairy products can cause digestive problems, such as vomiting and diarrhea.
Chocolate

Sweets are a no-no for dogs anyway! They lead to obesity, diabetes, and dental problems.
But chocolate is particularly dangerous! Cocoa contains theobromine, a substance highly toxic to many animals. Just 150 grams of chocolate is enough to kill a 10-kilogram dog.
If ingested, be careful, as symptoms may appear four to five hours later.
Caffeine is also very bad for a dog's heart. It stimulates the nervous system and causes palpitations, which can be fatal.
Cooked bones

After cooking, bones become hard and can form splinters when crushed by your pet's teeth.
These small pieces, sometimes sharp, can get stuck and cause choking or perforate the intestinal walls. Chicken and rabbit bones are particularly not recommended.
Onion/Garlic

Excessive onion ingestion damages the red blood cells that carry oxygen in the blood. Therefore, if ingested, the animal may experience breathing difficulties.
Garlic, on the other hand, can cause vomiting, anemia, or rapid heartbeat. However, a dog would have to eat a lot of it to experience these symptoms.
Other fruits and vegetables are also prohibited for dogs (leek/chives, potatoes and citrus fruits).
Meats high in fat
Although often enjoyed by our pets, meat may not be good for them. This is especially true of meats that contain a lot of fat.
The fat in these meats can cause pancreatitis. They are also very high in salt and cause dogs to drink more, increasing the risk of gastric torsion.
Note that, on the meat side, liver should also be avoided due to its high vitamin A content.
If consumed repeatedly, it can lead to constipation and weight loss, before damaging the dog's muscles and bones.
Raw fish

When given regularly, raw fish can cause a vitamin B deficiency which leads to loss of appetite and therefore weight loss.
Tuna, both raw and cooked, should be avoided because it is very salty. It promotes kidney damage.
Egg white

The avidin in egg white destroys vitamin B8, which is essential for the assimilation of proteins and fats.
The lawyer

Rich in fat, it can cause inflammation of the pancreas. Its kernel is also particularly toxic to the lungs and heart.
Macadamia Nuts/Raisins

In both cases, toxicity to dogs has been proven, although the responsible toxin has not been clearly identified.
Even a small amount of macadamia nuts is enough to poison an animal, which may experience lethargy, vomiting, or diarrhea, as well as tremors and fever.
Grapes, whether dried or fresh, can cause intestinal problems and damage the kidneys. (All dried fruits should generally be avoided for your pet).
Some mushrooms

Like humans, dogs cannot tolerate certain mushrooms, the consumption of which can be fatal.
The problem is that even those that are safe for humans are not necessarily safe for dogs. Fewer than fifty mushrooms can be safely given to a dog.
It is therefore advisable to find out before offering it to him, but also to remain vigilant during your walks in the forest.
